This was honestly one of the most thoughtful decorations I have seen. Artificial flower base with real flower accents meant the setup was done the night before stress-free and the fresh flowers were added the morning of the function. No rushing at all. And it looked stunning. This strategy is absolutely the smart way to do it.
We had a simple but heartfelt haldi. Fresh roses, marigolds and tuberose in simple clay pots. No fancy artificial stuff, just real flowers in every corner. My daughter cried happy tears the moment she saw it because she always wanted a simple natural haldi and we delivered exactly that for her.
Honestly I was sceptical about mixing artificial and real flowers but the decorators explained it so well. The artificial flower wall stayed perfect all evening while the real marigolds gave that desi wedding smell in the morning.
